Who are we?
Who are we?
We cultivate financial empowerment and lifelong learning by giving students real-world opportunities to pitch and invest in stocks, startups, and financial ventures. While our foundation is in finance, we aim to empower students across all industries, helping them cultivate their unique skills while building a strong understanding of personal finance. No matter the field, financial literacy is essential, and we’re here to ensure every student gains the tools they need to succeed, both professionally and personally.
Our Mission & Why We Exist
Our mission is to foster a culture of financial empowerment and active learning by enabling students to pitch and refine investment ideas, ranging from stocks and startups to emerging ventures. We believe real-world experience in research, analysis, and communication is essential not only for future finance leaders but for students in all fields. By providing actual funding and mentorship, we help students build confidence, sharpen their skills, and take ownership of their financial futures—no matter the industry they pursue.
Our Story
What began as a casual conversation over video games—debating how a friend should use a $250 scholarship—quickly turned into a spirited discussion about money management. Should he buy a used car, or invest in an index fund and forget about it? Out of that debate, the idea for SeedPitch was born.
We’ve since grown from a small group of finance enthusiasts into a vibrant community that hosts monthly pitch events, where winning ideas receive real funding and recognition. Though our roots are in finance, our mission has expanded: we want to help students across all industries strengthen their financial literacy, develop practical money skills, and gain the confidence to take control of their futures.
